F.A.Q.S

1. How will beeswax help me sleep?

Burning a beeswax candle in your room 30-60 minutes prior to bedtime will naturally remove toxins in the air, making for better breathing air, and in turn making for a better nights rest.

While I don't ever recommend burning a candle while you sleep, I do recommend melting our honeycomb melts to safely enjoy the benefits of beeswax while you sleep.

2. What makes our candles truly clean burning?

There are 2 big things that set my candles apart from 95% of candles you can purchase from major retailers and popular candle brands.....

WAX & FRAGRANCE OIL!

I use 100% pure beeswax which contains zero chemical compounds, is eco-friendly, and actually burns ions in the air that bind and eliminate toxins such as dust, mold, odor, and allergens. My candles do not contain any soy or paraffin.

Another huge factor of a clean burning candle is the type of fragrance oil that is utilized and the compounds that make up those oils.

I purchase my fragrance oils from a trusted supplier out of California. These oils are free from any parabens, phthalates, and most importantly free of VANILLIN.

What is Vanillin? Vanillin is a chemical compound known to release several substances when burnt. These include polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, which have been classed as human cancer causing agents by the International Agency for Research on Cancer.

(Many large scale candle retailers and small businesses use vanillin because it does make the fragrance stronger and linger longer) So yes it might be the strong aroma you are after, but remember that you breathe in everything you burn.

I am proud to say my products are 100% vanillin FREE!

3. Why don't we use essential oils in our candles?

Although I do have a love for essential oils and the healing affects they have when diffusing, there is evidence to suggest that they can actually become harmful when heated or burned. By heating or burning these complex oils you can damage the helpful compounds in them.

4. Is it normal to have a little soot inside the vessel after burning?

YES! Due to the use of the wooden wicks, it is normal to have some soot.

5. Is it normal to have some cracking in the wax after use?

YES! Beeswax is a 100% natural wax and when it cools, it cracks.
